Founded by Don Tyson in 1999, Montiff has been a pioneer in introducing nutraceuticals for cardiovascular health vitamins and supplements. Before establishing Montiff, Don Tyson introduced Ion-Exchange Chromatography (a more advanced way to measure amino acid levels in blood plasma and urine).
In 1979, Don Tyson founded Tyson and Associates, in which he was the first to introduce amino acid application to the United States as well as supplying amino acids for researchers and institutions.
In 1980, Don Tyson introduced an oral amino acid formulation that would help with stress, blood sugar, muscle support and development, neurotransmitter deficit and brain function. This full-spectrum, oral amino acid formulation was the first of its kind to be introduced into the market and healthcare practitioners.
In 1992, Don Tyson sold Tyson & Associates and Aatron Laboratories and established Montiff. His research into nutraceuticals for cardiovascular health eventually led to him creating much of Montiff’s product line.
