Discover a raw, unrefined fish oil crafted straight from the icy, pristine waters of Helgeland, Norway. Rosita Real Foods Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil (EVCLO) is sustainably harvested using traditional hook-and-line methods. Unlike conventional oils that rely on high heat and chemical refining, Rosita utilizes a rare, generations-old cold extraction technique. This gentle approach relies entirely on natural temperature shifts to isolate the oil, ensuring the delicate, naturally occurring nutrients remain completely intact without the addition of synthetic vitamins.

Key Product Features

  • 100% Raw & Unrefined: Extracted without the use of heat, chemicals, solvents, bleaches, or winterization, keeping the oil exactly as nature intended.

  • Sustainably Wild-Caught: Sourced exclusively from wild Atlantic Cod (Gadus morhua) harvested on the Rosita family's own fishing boats off the coast of Norway.

  • Naturally Occurring Nutrients: Delivers preformed Vitamin A (retinol form) and Vitamin D3, alongside a full spectrum of omega fatty acids (including Omega 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 11).

  • Zero Synthetic Additives: Contains absolutely no artificial colors, flavorings, preservatives, or added synthetic vitamins.

  • Rigorous Third-Party Testing: Every batch is tested by independent microbiological laboratories and certified to meet strict European standards for purity, heavy metals, and rancidity.

  • Freshness Protection: Packaged in a nitrogen-flushed, oxygen-free dark glass bottle to prevent oxidation and maintain freshness during transport.

  • Natural Antioxidants: Enhanced with a tiny trace of wild rosemary extract and non-GMO natural mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E from sunflower extract) to preserve oil stability.

FAQ

Does it need to be shipped with cold packs?

No. The unopened bottles are nitrogen-flushed to completely eliminate oxygen before they are sealed in protective glass. This process preserves the oil’s nutrients and prevents oxidation during transit, making it completely safe to ship in all temperatures without ice packs.

How should I store it once it arrives?

  • Unopened bottles: Can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen for up to 3 years from the production date.

  • Opened bottles: Must be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 3 months. Keep it cold and away from light.

Why is my oil thick and cloudy?

This is completely normal! Because Rosita is raw, unprocessed, and full of natural fatty acids, it thickens and clouds up when cold. Simply leave the bottle on the counter for 2 minutes and give it a gentle shake before your dose to distribute the nutrients evenly.

How can I make it taste better?

Rosita has no artificial flavorings to mask its natural state—it tastes like robust, wild-caught fish. If you struggle with the taste, try these quick tips:

  1. Take it straight out of the fridge so it's chilled.

  1. Have a slice of orange or lemon ready as a refreshing chaser right after taking it.

  1. Mix it into a cold smoothie or yogurt (never mix it into hot foods, as heat destroys the raw nutrients).

What are the ingredients?

  • Main Ingredient: 100% Wild-Caught & Raw Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil.

  • Natural Antioxidants: Just a tiny fraction of a drop of rosemary extract and non-GMO natural mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E from sunflower seeds) to keep the oil stable.

  • Free from artificial colors, flavorings, preservatives, soy, gluten, and dairy.

What makes Rosita different from commercial cod liver oils?

Most commercial fish oils use high heat, chemical solvents, and bleaching agents that strip out natural vitamins. Producers then have to inject synthetic vitamins back in.

Rosita uses a rare, generations-old extraction technique utilizing a gentle, natural temperature shift to release the oil from the livers. It is never heated above room temperature, leaving the natural vitamins A and D completely unadulterated and in the exact ratios nature intended.

Are there any medical warnings?

Because this is a highly potent whole-food supplement, you should consult your healthcare provider before taking it if you:

  • Are pregnant or nursing (to carefully monitor Vitamin A intake).

  • Are diabetic or have a diagnosed cardiovascular condition.

  • Are allergic to fish or iodine.

  • Take blood thinners or anticipate an upcoming surgery (omega fatty acids can have mild blood-thinning properties).
