Optivite P.M.T. 180 tabs by Allergy Research Group is the first multivitamin – multimineral supplement formulated for use by women with premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

In one study (Abraham GE, Rumley RE. J Reprod Med. 1987 Jun;32(6):405-22. PMID: 2956416), a 50% reduction of PMS complaints was observed in those studies following 1-3 months using the supplements. Furthermore, this magnesium-emphasized product uses a balanced blend of magnesium and vitamin B6. One study in NCBI found that supplementing with a combination of magnesium and vitamin B6 helped participants ease their PMS symptoms, including depression, anxiety, breast tenderness, and insomnia. Other significant ingredients to note are vitamins A, C, D3, and B12. Most of the minerals are chelated minerals, meaning they are of high absorption compared to non-chelated ones. These include magnesium, calcium, zinc, selenium, and manganese.
