Douglas Labs' L-Tryptophan, an amino acid, is made from plants and animal sources. It is often used in supporting a healthy sleep pattern. L-Tryptophan is commonly used by those who have insomnia to help them sleep. L-Tryptophan is sometimes used to help with the symptoms of anxiety and depression. As well it can be helpful with some of the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, such as cramps and mood swings. This is a product that is sometimes used to help stop smoking and to help with ADD.
