"I take this supplement to help my body assimilate estrogen into a healthy form~I think this is a ""must have"" for any woman who has a family history of breast cancer as it is proven that high estrogen levels feed breast cancer. I stopped taking this for 2 months because I was trying to save money. During those 2 months I noticed a marked increase in many of my peri-menopausal symptoms; especially night sweats . Back on this supplement again, my symptoms have lessened. Metagenics produces high quality supplements that many health care providers recommend or sell in their practices. Yes, they can be expensive, but I believe the ""super market, warehouse, retail chain drug store"" brands how low standards in their quality control methods, origin of ingredients, added fillers, etc, and do lack the high quality ingredients found in Metagenics products."
