Agar is a flavorless all natural extract of red algae turned into a powder that works as a thickening agent for many desserts. Agar powder is low calorie, zero fat, and contains both dietary fiber and protein. It can be used to stabilize, gel, thicken or add texture with cooking or baking sweet or savory dishes. The gel strength of Agar Powder is between 500- 725 gcm.

Suggested Use: Place 1 cup juice and 1 teaspoon agar agar powder in a pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2-minutes, continuously stirring. Remove from heat, let sit for 5-minutes, then pour into desired molds. Place in refrigerator to set.
