Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is a powerful antioxidant, which means it helps to slow down processes that damage cells. Vitamin E is important for the proper functioning of many organs in the human body. It can be found in several different foods including vegetable oils, wheat germ oil, fruits, vegetables, eggs, poultry, meat, and cereal.
It can also be consumed in the form of a supplement. Vitamin E is believed to help decrease the risk of heart disease and hardening of the arteries as well as high blood pressure. It is also commonly used to help with diabetes and diabetic complications.
In addition, vitamin E is thought to help diseases of the brain and nervous system, such as Alzheimer's disease, other dimensions Parkinson's disease, restless leg syndrome, epilepsy, and night cramps. Pregnant women have used vitamin E to help prevent complications later in pregnancy due to high blood pressure. Women have also used it to help with painful periods, menopausal symptoms, premenstrual syndrome syndrome, and breakfast.
