Policosanol Extra Strength 90 vegcaps By Now is a cholesterol-lowering and balancing mixture for those with already healthy levels. This blend also contains Hawthorne plant sterols for additional support.

Policosanol is a combination of fat-soluble long-chain fatty alcohols (LCFAs) or plant waxes. This waxy substance from Cuban cane sugar can lower LDL or bad cholesterol and even raise HDL or good cholesterol levels. There is four times the concentration of standard Policosanol supplements offering extra cholesterol support. Hawthorne can restrict the absorption of cholesterol and triglycerides by the intestines lowering the overall circulating fat in the blood.
