DuoZyme by Karuna is a dietary supplement designed to support both the gastric and intestinal phases of a healthy digestive process. DuoZyme provides a blend of hydrochloric acid and pepsin, combined with protease, amylase, and lipase enzymes, to facilitate proper digestion of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Karuna has also included betaine HCl and glutamic HCl, two potent acidulants, in this formulation to help acidify the contents of the gastric system, along with ox bile extract and pancreatin to stimulate natural secretions by the liver and pancreas.
