"I stopped this for a week. Big mistake! My liver enzymes (ALT) went up. Of course, I'm taking 7 capsules 3 times a day, so the effect is a bit exaggerated compared to what would happen on the 'recommended dose'. Also, I'm taking it for iron reduction in addition to liver protection. In any event, it clearly has clinical efficacy (and it was prescribed by my doctor)."
