Herb Pharm was founded in 1979 by Ed Smith and Sara Katz. They wanted to find a method to extract and create herbal products from plants in the most efficient and eco-friendly way as possible. As their company grew exponentially in the next 10 years, Ed and Sara established a training and educational program to teach those interested in herbs.

This training and educational program established by Ed and Sara is now known as the Herbaculture Internship Program and is an integral part of Herb Pharm. Herb Pharm follows the policies set by the FDA's Good Manufacturing Practices and audit their products by UL, a 3rd party.
