SAM-e 200 mg by Jarrow Formulas is a dietary supplement designed to support the healthy production of connective tissues, support healthy brain metabolism, and promote healthy liver function. The key ingredient in SAM-e 200 mg is SAMe, a metabolite of methionine, considered an essential amino acid. The SAMe used in this formulation is created naturally through microbiological fermentation and processed with no chemical solvents in order to retain the highest biological active level of this metabolite possible for optimal results. Each tablet is enteric coated to prevent digestive upset.

Other Ingredients:
Cellulose, mannitol, glyceryl behenate, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate. Enteric coating consists of modified cellulose, triethyl citrate, magnesium silicate and riboflavin.

Warnings:
Individuals using prescribed medications such as antidepressants, including Selective Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) and MAO Inhibitors should consult a physician before using this product. Individuals with Parkinson’s disease, bi-polar disorder or manic depression should not use SAMe. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not exceed recommended intake. May cause gastrointestinal upset in some persons. If you experience discomfort, discontinue use. Keep this product out of reach of children.
