Founded in 1932, Boiron is owned by the Boiron family and manufactures health products in homeopathic medicines. Boiron specializes in developing homeopathic medicine products that support a variety of health concerns. As of 2019, Boiron has over 3,700 employees and distribution centers in 59 countries.

Boiron’s mission is “to stimulate the evolution of health care by promoting homeopathy as a compassionate, ecological and comprehensive approach to medicine”. Boiron complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations, the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States and drug Good Manufacturing practices to ensure that their products are made with the highest quality and care.

In a survey involving thousands of pharmacists, Pharmacy Times in partnership with U.S. News & World Report found that Boiron’s Oscillococcinum was the top recommendation for over-the-counter brands in 150 product categories.

Boiron’s Oscillococcinum has also been awarded the Seal of Approval by the Parent Tested Parent Approved (PTPA) in April 2013. PTPA has over 70,000 parents, making them the largest volunteer parent testing community.
