Biocidin Botanicals was founded in 1989 to address opportunistic infections, a concern raised by many physicians. Genova sent a sample of Biocidin to be tested. Biocidin was found to be a natural inhibitor of pathogenic organisms.

Since then, Biocidin Botanicals has formulated many products addressing problems with intestinal ecology, immune system dysregulation and detoxification.
