Kate Solomon, the founder of Babo Botanicals, has always strongly valued nature, beekeeping, and sustainable agriculture, thanks to her father's career as a beekeeper. She brought her love of natural ingredients with her when spent time in Paraguay with the Peace Corps teaching others how to grow their own nutrient-rich food, empowering young people to provide nutrition for their families while increasing financial security.

Babo Botanicals was born after Kate realized how difficult it was to find skin and hair care products for babies and young children that contained natural ingredients that wouldn't irritate delicate, allergy-prone skin. With her own children as her inspiration, Kate set out to create a line of products for the hair and skin that were safe, clean, and effective for even the youngest consumers.
