The thyroid is a hormone gland that constantly releases vital thyroid hormones into the bloodstream. These hormones are responsible for proper human development and regulate many functions such as energy and heat. The amino acid L cysteine HCL reduces thyroid antibodies, which can lead to thyroid imbalance and disease if out of control. Iodine and L-Tyrosine are precursors to thyroid hormone. They are essential to the adequate production of thyroid hormones in the body. Guggul gum works along with iodine, increasing its uptake and boosting thyroid gland enzymes. The adaptogen ashwagandha can increase the level of thyroid hormones in those suffering from hypothyroidism or deficiency.
