Undecyn by Thorne Research is a dietary supplement designed to support a healthy microflora of beneficial bacteria both in the gastrointestinal tract and the vagina. The main active ingredient found in Undecyn from Thorne Research is calcium undecylenate, the calcium salt of undecylenic acid, a fatty acid that is more potent in maintaining the gastrointestinal tract's acid-alkaline balance than the caprylic acid used in most formulas promoting gut health. Also included are berberine HCl derived from Indian Barberry root, calcium, and betaine hydrochloride in a more beneficial time-release form.

Warnings:
If pregnant, consult your health professional before using this product. Keep out of the reach of children. Undecyn should not be used concurrent with H2-blocking drugs and proton pump inhibitors, because these drugs are intended to block the production of stomach HCl. Undecyn is contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcers. It is not recommended to remove the Undecyn powder from the capsule to take orally, as it can be irritating to the oral mucosa.
