CoQH softgels by Klaire Labs is a powerful coenzyme Q10 supplement designed to support heart health, increase energy levels, and protect against oxidative.

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a powerful antioxidant found in every cell in the body. It's a coenzyme, meaning it helps activate enzymes so they are able to work effectively.

The largest quantities of CoQ10 are found in the mitochondrial membrane, where it helps mitochondria to produce energy in the form of ATP, the energy currency of the cell. Essentially, it helps transport electrons in the mitochondria that are needed to produce ATP.

CoQ10 is also found in cell membranes and in lipoproteins like LDL and HDL that carry cholesterol around the body. It helps protect cells and lipoproteins from oxidative stress and stabilizes cell membranes so they are able to effectively communicate with other cells.

Organs that have a high demand for energy and lots of mitochondria, such as the heart, muscle, kidneys, liver, and brain, contain the highest amount of CoQ10.

The body can make half of the CoQ10 we need and the rest usually comes from diet. However, various diseases and conditions, nutrient deficiencies, and medications can all reduce CoQ10 levels.

CoQ10 is recommended for people on statins as these drugs are
notorious for lowering CoQ10 levels, which can damage heart health.

Supplementing with CoQ10 is especially helpful for conditions involving mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress such as fibromyalgia, heart disease, and diabetes.

CoQ10 comes in two forms: ubiquinol and ubiquinone. Ubiquinol is the reduced form that is responsible for the antioxidant effects in the body while ubiquinone is mainly used for energy production. Ubiquinone can be converted in the body to ubiquinol however this ability declines as we age and is impaired in certain disease states.

CoQH by Klaire Labs contains both forms of CoQ10 to help with oxidative stress and energy production.

Clinical research supports the use of Klaire Lab's CoQ10 to help with:

  • Improving energy levels
  • Protecting cells and mitochondria from oxidative stress
  • Improving heart and muscle function
