Amino Acids- Single
Single amino acids are divided into three main types: essential, non-essential, and semi-essential. The essential amino acids are tryptophan, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, valine, leusine, and isoleucine. Arginine and histidine are semi-essential.
Non-essential amino acids are tyrosine, glycine, serine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, tuarine, cysteine, proline, and alanine. Each can help to balance chemicals in the brain known as neurotransmitters and to help in muscle maintenance, tissue repair, and immunity.
