Starting on a family farm in Kansas, for over 3 generations, Amazing Grass has organically grown and harvested nutrient-dense greens. Founded in 2002 by Brandon Bert and Todd Habermeh, Amazing Grass continues their tradition of offering simple, but authentic greens of the highest quality to consumers, with products ranging from greens, antioxidant-rich superfoods and plant-based proteins.
Amazing Grass does not grow their grass in greenhouses or trays. Instead, Amazing Grass grows everything outdoors, even through a cold winter. This ensures for a deep root structure to form and in doing so, the grass is able to soak up as much nutrients and minerals from the soils and subsoils as possible. Once the grass is harvested at nutritional peak, the grass is then dehydrated and pressed into pellets within 90 to 120 minutes. This preserves the raw freshness and whole food nutrition from the grass.
The pellets are also naturally preserved in an underground limestone cave to ensure the freshness of the grass until they are ready to be grinded. By fine grinding the grass, the nutrition is bio-available and easily digestible for human consumption.
